Tid Bit Tuesday Purple Power | Katherines Corner

?It?s? Tid Bit Tuesday time to share a more intimate look at my life.

When I was about 14 years old? I was window shopping with my Mother on the High Street ( the main street that has all of the shops). We were on our way home from time happily spent?wandering?from shop to shop when I saw them. Purple suede shoes! ( sorry no photo of the shoes so I?m sharing my purple shoe art). Be still my heart. I swooned as I looked doe eyed at my Mother and pleaded, ? oh pleeeeease? they are gorgeous and look at that color?. She looked at me knowing she shouldn?t give in to such a plea. But in we?went, and soon I had my very first?pair?of?purple shoes. Elvis would have flipped for those suede beauties. My gratitude was expressed loudly and my favorite color was declared. From that day forward purple has been my favorite color. Mostly shades of lilac and lavender. I like so many colors when it comes to decorating. But I always choose purples for something special.

About Purple- A purple room can boost a child?s imagination or an artist?s creativity.( not to much purple though)

Purple robes are often worn by royalty

Purple often symbolizes intuition and spirituality

Purple is well-liked by highly creative and also eccentric people, hmmmm:-)

Purple is both a warm and a cool color for decorating

Purple has been used to both calm and uplift people moods.
